I became a real estate agent in 2000. Before then I had built a successful career in the investment and financial industry helping clients build wealth, save for retirement and meet their long-term financial goals through investments in stocks, bonds and other investment vehicles. My career advanced and I became a manager of the investment division of a major bank. I hired, fired, trained, approved trades, and ensured we met all the strict regulations of the industry. I held 5 security licenses. But, honestly, I did not feel fulfilled. I wanted something that was more my own...something that I would find stimulating, satisfying, and would align with my interests. I had always been extremely interested in interior design and beautifully crafted homes and buildings. That, together with my capacity for helping people with their assets lead me to real estate.
I love what I do! I do not just help people with buying or selling a home. I help them create a lifestyle. Do they need space for a grand piano? Do they want to be able to walk to shopping or restaurants? Is the way light enters a home important? Maybe they need a large yard for the kids or dog, and spacious kitchen for entertaining.
